The Conferenza dei Collegi Universitari di Merito draws up, coordinates and manages European projects in partnership with Universities and Research Centres, Trade Associations and Public and Private Bodies, both in Italy and abroad, on issues concerning the training of young people.

CCUM is currently involved in the Job Bridge project

Job Bridge is a European research project aimed at recognising and certifying the experiences and competencies (soft skills) acquired by carrying out voluntary work.

Through Job Bridge, informal, non-formal and formal learning will be integrated with social, personal and organisational skills in a system linked to existing validation and certification tools (such as EQF, ECVET, ECTS and EUROPASS), thereby enabling voluntary organisations to assess and highlight the skills acquired by their volunteers, according to a specific reference system.

Eight partners are involved in the project: CCUM (Italy), BupNet (Germany), Cámara (Spain), Blinc EG (Germany), LLLPlatform (Belgium) Catro (Bulgaria), VolunteeringMatters (Great Britain), and Association des etats generaux des etudiantes de l'Europe (Belgium).

Some of the projects successfully completed include the E-QUA project (Erasmus QUAlity hosting framework), which was aimed at improving the quality of the student mobility experience by defining, validating and transferring quality mobility criteria; the MODES project (Modernisation of higher education through soft skills accreditation), which was aimed at integrating a common European programme on transferable skills in academic curricula and in post-graduation follow-up.
