Ministerial Decree no. 672 of 8 September 2016 “Recognition of University Colleges pursuant to art. 16 of Legislative Decree no. 68/2012”
Recognition is granted to Colleges that demonstrate that they meet 11 requirements: the presence of a scientific committee, the presence of a full-time director, the signing of a personalised training project, assessment by students, suitable residential facilities, the presence of scientific teaching facilities (lecture rooms, libraries and laboratories), the presence of guidance activities, a call for applications that is also open to international candidates, assessment of students’ merit, the presence of foreign students, and the presence of a full-time manager for training and cultural activities.

Accreditation and access to State funding is granted to Colleges that demonstrate that they meet 10 requirements: the presence of collaboration agreements with institutions and companies for guidance, continuing education activities for their staff, audited financial statements, the allocation of scholarships and funding opportunities to students, the signing of a personalised training project, the presence of agreements with foreign institutions, participation in international mobility and student exchange projects, ISO 9001 certification, an endowment fund, and the management of the College as an exclusive or prevailing statutory purpose.
